Behind the Scenes at EPC: Building Better Events for Our Young Players

Running junior tennis events may look simple from the sidelines — a few courts, a few matches, and a leaderboard. But at EPC Sports, we know that every detail matters when you’re helping shape the future of young athletes.

This month, we’re thrilled to host a full schedule of Holiday Hotshots Matchplay Sessions at Oxford Falls Racquet Club, and behind each session is a dedicated team working to deliver more than just fun.

We’re building a tennis ecosystem that supports junior development from the ground up. That includes:

  • 🛠️ Technology: Our EPC scoring and rating system ensures every result counts and can be tracked over time.

  • 🎓 Education: We guide coaches, parents, and players to understand formats, scoring, and development milestones.

  • 🎯 Consistency: Whether you’re at a school, centre, or club, EPC events are run under the same structure — giving players a familiar, reliable experience.

  • 🌱 Growth Opportunities: From team events to individual matchplay, our pathway leads to more competitive tennis, including UTR progression.

Right now, we’re working on:

  • Launching 9 Holiday Matchplay Sessions across July

  • Enhancing our leaderboard tools and event dashboards

  • Supporting new schools and coaches in onboarding to the EPC system

  • Listening to player and parent feedback to improve registration and communication

We believe junior sport should be meaningful, accessible, and fun — and our events are designed with this in mind. From the moment a player registers, to the last match of the day, we aim to give them a positive tennis experience that keeps them coming back for more.

If you’re a coach, school, or club looking to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
